Why do I need this medicine?
Fluocinolone and Neomycin are combined together in this medicine.

Fluocinolone + Neomycin is used to treat inflammatory skin disorders (characterised by inflammation and irritation of the skin) associated with infection.
How do I use this medicine?
Apply Fluocinolone + Neomycin exactly as directed by your doctor or according to the instructions on the label. Do not use more or less than instructed by your doctor.

If you have been given a cream or ointment, follow these steps:
  1. Wash and dry your hands before applying this medicine.
  2. Clean the affected area and let it dry.
  3. Apply a thin layer in the affected area. Rub it gently on the skin until it disappears.
  4. Wash your hands after each application.
Avoid contact with eyes or mouth. Rinse immediately with water if Fluocinolone + Neomycin gets into your eyes or mouth. Alert your doctor if you start to have any problems with your eyes.

Do not bandage, cover or wrap the affected area after applying Fluocinolone + Neomycin unless instructed by your doctor.

This medicine must be used regularly and within the given timeframe for it to be effective. Do not stop using it unless instructed by your doctor.
What should I do if I have forgotten to use this medicine?
Apply the missed dose as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and return to your normal dosing schedule.

Do not use more than what is instructed by your doctor to make up for the missed dose.

If you often forget to apply your medicine, let your doctor and pharmacist know.
When should I not use this medicine?
Do not use this medicine if you ever had an allergic reaction (rashes, breathlessness, swollen mouth or eyes) to Fluocinolone + Neomycin or any similar medicines.
What should I take note of while using this medicine?
Let your doctor know if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Do not apply on skin areas which may rub together (e.g. underarm, crotch, under the breasts, in between the fingers or the thighs) unless instructed by your doctor.

Do not apply on skin that is broken or infected. Do not apply on skin that is discharging fluid or pus.

Do not apply Fluocinolone + Neomycin to large areas of your skin.

Be sure to check with your doctor or pharmacist before giving this medicine to a child. Children may be more sensitive to side effects.
What side effects could I experience?
Fluocinolone + Neomycin may cause any of the following side effects: stinging or burning sensation, redness, itching, dryness, irritation of the skin, inflamed hair follicles, new or worsening pimple breakouts, formation of pale patches on the skin or of stretch marks, heat rash, localised increase in hair growth.

If you develop rashes, breathlessness, swollen mouth or eyes, stop using the medicine and inform your doctor quickly. These could be signs of an allergic reaction.

Prolonged use of this medicine may cause thinning of the skin, problems in hearing or urination; roundness of the face, muscle wasting, and swelling of the feet, ankles, or hands.

Inform your doctor if any of these side effects do not go away or are severe, or if you experience other side effects.
Can I use this with other medicines?
Inform your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking other antibiotics e.g. gentamicin, kanamycin, paromomycin, streptomycin.

Let your doctor know if you are using any other creams, ointments or other medicines on the affected area. Always notify your doctor and pharmacist if you are taking any other medicines, including herbal tonics such as traditional Chinese medicines, supplements and medicines that you buy without a prescription.
How should I store this medicine?
Store in a cool, dry place away from the reach of children.

Medicines must not be used past the expiry date.
